okay, so i'm currently going out of my mind. turns out that i had the departure date wrong for our trip to texas, by just one day but enough to freak me out. and of course, i'm scheduled to open the bar the very same day that we leave so i need to get my shift covered.
i have 3 of my 4 costumes all partially made but left the tricky detail work to the end, much to my dismay. our fundage is lacking and our bills are more than anticipated. the stupid car insurance bill came leaving us with an extra grand to make this month while i'm away from work and we need to take some cash with us to texas. the house is a disaster area but i'm hoping to get it all cleaned up before our halloween party. how did my time get away from me? i've been sewing like a mad woman but i fear that i'm never going to get it all done. looks like i'll be burning the midnight oil until we leave. that's okay, sleep is for the weak.
