another day, another dollar

another day in paradise. not that all i want to do is complain on this blog, but why is it that when you need the money the most, which is always, its not there? another slow night at the og, conveniently before a baby shower and the abba show on friday. looks like my cocktails will be limited that evening.

still terrifically sore from wandering through our medieval village this weekend. all this reminds me is that i'm way out of shape and should really think about do something mildly active. i'm not old enough yet to feel this badly. its just too damn hot for outdoor fun right now and ultimately, i'm lazy. i'm so close to a very attainable goal and no one is holding me back but me.

my book is fantastic and i'm nearing the end quickly. i'll return with a full review once its finished. now my task at hand is to find something else to follow it. i'm returning to my very bookwormy days and am quite excited to be back. about time to wonder the aisles of bookstores, running my hands down the spines until something grabs me. suggestions?

my first time

never done this before, bear with me. i'm a talker by nature, whether or not anybody is listening, really doesn't matter.

have had a helliously busy week and am not looking forward to opening the bar again tomorrow. in fact i should be sleeping as i type. we had many old o.g. kids on the bartop tonight, nice to have friends around when things get crazy. thanks for the delicious pie.

really looking forward to dressing up and hitting the ren fest this sunday. the boy is staying at grandma's house tomorrow night, wish i was able to take advantage and sleep in but i'd like to get there early.

started a interesting book this afternoon. gonna try to pound out a few chapters before the alarm goes off. maybe this will go better tomorrow.
